Is there anything you're allergic to?
Epstein's other victims, new old computer, and film like it's theater
¿What you heard?
The way my cousin tells it, he and his friend Marvin are sitting together at Olive Garden for a birthday meal.
A waitress takes their order.
“Is there anything you’re allergic to?” she checks.
“Meat,” my cousin says.
“You’re allergic to meat?”
“Human meat!”
Marvin drops his head on the table, hiding his face between his arms.

The Epstein files’ nods at cannibalism have made my cousin suspicious of all but kosher, halal, and homecooked meat. His own Epstein investigations have populated his algorithm with Jewish child sacrifice conspiracy theories that have inadvertently led him to believe in God.

Once an agnostic, Chipotle meat-eater, my cousin has been changed so profoundly by these files that I joked that he too is a victim of Epstein.
What you doin’?!
Bullshit, man. Mostly bullshit.
I randomly went to Las Vegas for the first half of the week. Away from the ethernet cable at home, I realized I’d have to pack a laptop with a working wifi card.
My current computer is AARP at least. In addition to its internet issues, the fan spurts and farts, the battery’s suicidal, and some of the insides are exposed.
However, since I’ll soon be dropping 4K on a desktop to animate Aisha Been Leimert Park, I really didn’t want to invest in a brand new laptop.
I found a friend selling an ancient HP for $40, but after a whole week of futzing to get it to work right, I’ve realized that I’d actually rather just repair old reliable. :/
What you seen??
LOCKJAW (2025) is a great example of resourceful, low-budget filmmaking. 90 percent of the movie takes place in one free location.
It works well enough, but watching it, I wondered whether Lockjaw may be among the last to employ what could soon become an antiquated strategy for indie moviemaking.
Seedance 2.0 has been very inspiring.
While I’ve been on Sora 2 a lot lately, I don’t see myself using it much beyond my weekly AI slop shorts or the Aisha Been Manhattan Beach trailer I’m whipping up.
I just don’t like being limited by text and image prompting.
Seedance 2.0 though appears to be a video-to-video model so strong that it’s got me imagining a new generation of microbudget indies, shot like plays where a single location is transformed into multiple sets dressed with the help of AI.
